I have the same problem but now when i try putting it in other gears then the noise stops Im told its the clutch now the transmission! I dont know what to get fixed
I can hear a rattle underneath the stick shift when letting off the clutch into 1st gear. It does not happen with the other gears.
Grinding sound when shifting in between 1st and 2nd gears. Local mechanic told me that it is the clutch and will cost 1200.00 to fix. I love my PT but it's costing too much money to keep fixing at 90,000 the timing belt had to be replaced 700.00 for that repair
