cant start the car in the morning

when I drive on the high way at in 5th gear I tac will read 3000rpm around 80 kmph and at 120 kmph the tac reads 4000rpm does anyone have any ideas this happens all the time does not matter if the motor is cold or warm

Well it leaks.

after diagnosis it threw code 00515, imobbilizer is ok now what is problem.... heeelp

Where is the thermostat on 1994 VW Golf Diesel CL? I would like to replace it.

All lights blink when using a turn signal. thet are a touch dimmer when this happens. it does not happen when i use the brake lights

you can do this all day it always will start but dies the fuel pump is running has gas and it started doing this after i went and put gas in it i drove it home park it came out two hours later i and i started it and it runs for 3 to 5 seconds then dies but will start right back up but dies again please help me

The wiper switch refuses to turn off the wipers! The mechanic has tried replacing the switch and the switch motor with no luck.

Have replaced arm and switch gear, stiill won't switch off.

Unable to get any response when starting the engine. Would it be computers. What do I check. Ignition lights come on but no response to start the engine.

if i take turns at high or low rpms my car hesitates or even at a complete stop when i start to go it hesitates. i replaced the fuel filter. but my cat has also been gutted. does anyone know a reason this could be happening?

it was like that when i took the cam cover off. yes we drove it like that.

It start once then no more ,if you take out the pipe from the filFilter,which goes to injectors the car start ,but if u lessen it look like the is an overfloat,and no power

My son is looking at buying an uncertified 2002 Gulf that requires brakes, has an engine light that goes on apparently it goes out when a fuse is replace and also has two exhaust leeks. Can you give me a ball park on what these things would cost to repair.

I had problem with my gears. I send away my gearbox and redone my links and everyrthing. Now my golf doesn't want to go into 2nd gear. All the other gears are fine its just 2nd gear and I can't seem to get it right.

it is tight. It will flick on and off and sometimes i cant crank my car like it has no juice. then it will magically come on. what you think couls cause this?

i replaced the air box and plastics and had to remove the battery while doing this when i replaced all the parts the battery light was on on the dash and the battery is not charging i have checked the wiring but cannot find a problem

its a 99` vauxhall corsa 1.6i 8 valve, it misfires between 2-3000 rpm, but if you drive full throttle it does nothing throughout the rev range, it keeps wearing out no 1 exhaust valve guide(within a week), the head has been redone 3 times now,I have just redone the complete engine, from crank to pistons to head including plugs, leads wires, coil, crank pulley and gear, map sensor, idle sensor, tp sensor,etc sensor,fuel pump and relay, fuel injectors, air and fuel filter, but it still misfires, I dont want to drive it likethis as it will damage the head again.

I was told to check the gear oil. if its low what kind or type of oil do i put in it. volkswagon 98 cabrio 2.0 engine 5 spd thx

When driving along the car keeps slipping out of gear, she then needs to hold the gear stick in place for the car to move? Any ideas?

mechanic says O.K., it did not sound or look O.K.

Hi there, have an old citi golf,
Problem: Starts fine, runs ok, accelerates to touch immediately, however when driving the car, after a short while it starts jerking and cuts out!

Just had full service, replaced the battery, TCI unit, fuel pump, carburator and temp sensor/sensor unit and yet the problem pesists.

Not sure if the problem could be electrical, feels like this car has a mind of its own, please advise, many thanks.

The problem happened last night when I noticed the temperature going beyond half. I managed to reach home but when I opened the bonnet I noticed the exapansion tank was full of coolant, not circulating and the fun was not running. I waited for the system to cool off and when I open it most of the coolant had leaked off at the pipe which connects to the engine (I assume that is were the thermostat is located). I put in fresh water and some coolant and it appeared to have behaved. This morning the same thing happened so I had to park it. What could be the problem and what is the solution? It is a 1.8cc 4 cylinder.

i have check the water pomp (is ok),the termostat is ok,i repair the head of motor and the problem is still not fixed pls helppp mee..

Ive changed da o2 sensor nd gave it a full service and its still eatn the juice. Any help wud be gratefull as im stumped. Thanks

i think its the distributor or coil,or possibly main fuse,the car seldom has the tendency to cut power and has a hard start.

How much to Fix?
