hi I have a 05 matrix with a a/c electrical problem everything starter with the a/c compressor not getting good ground and then now I have no power on the main a/c relay, my question is if the car has another fuse inside for the a/c system? my switch inside the light wont turn on I just have the fan blowing. anybody here has a idea what could it be.
The noise is especially loud when I turn it on high.
I changed the spark plugs and 3 out of 4 broke off so I had use an easy out to get them out and now it sounds like the piston is sticking what's the problem?
No gas is delivered to the engine, in drive, and all it will do is move forward at idle speed. This happened at low speed, gong up a hill, and also on level ground at high speed, and once upon turning on the ignition, the transmission slammed into drive, and there was no response , just idling ahead, when I stepped on the gas.
All kinds of excuses for not repairing them. They don't know what causes it to explode - as stated in congressional hearings- but they expect me to drive it. Can someone disable it for me?
the battery drains real fast and has to be jumped off. Also, the alarm goes off when attempting to crank the car and it takes multiple tries to get it to start.
I have 60000 on my Maxtrix. For 10 years I have driven it about 600- 400 miles each month in short trips to the store, etc. A long trip for me is maybe 15 miles. I need to spend about $1200 on this car (60000 check, new tires and battery) before Virgina's April state inspection. I'd like some ideas of how this usage impacts the life expectancy of this car's systems, both major and minor.
The yellow engine light came on early Sunday morning. I drove to church and back with light still on. My husband checked battery and found corrosion. He cleaned corrosion. Our mechanic friend stopped by. When he inserted and turned the key, the warning light was no longer on. My husband claims he didn't reset the warning yellow light. Is it possible for yellow warning engine light to turn off after battery corrosion is cleaned off?
I was told if one breaks the other is not far behind and could break at any time so I should get it done before it breaks. I also was told they would help me see if the timing chain needs replacing but I now find out they never break. Don't know if that mechanic is reliable
only been a little over a year since motor replaced in cali.now told motor mounts need replacing & power steering pump,wouldnt those be part of a new engine install???please help a.s.a.p.

My phone is ringing from inside my vehicle NO LIE and I have NOooo idea where it could be. My purse was tossed and my best guesses were somehow it slid down my emergency brake or down the air duct underneath my passenger seat. Any idea if these are possible?
My mother, who lives in Florida, claims her dashboard lights come on when the sun is up, however, once it gets dark, the lights go out. I do not believe there is a light sensor that controls the dashboard lights.
The SRS indicator light goes out in 5 sec 95% of engine start-up. If it does not go out an engine restart usually will cause the light symbol to go out. I have noted the light has not function properly since we have reached over 100* heat days. What avenue should I take with this problem and what repair options will I be subject to encounter. I had my car checked at the garage they said the breaks were fine and They lubricated the callipers but the sound has now come back after a few weeks since doing this.
The sound happens when I am braking only
It stays on & goes off like it is supposed to, when you first start it. Then it starts flashing & if you drive very long it stops just stays on.It just started doing this today.

This began about 3 weeks ago. STARTING was taking a little longer than usual, with less than full cranking power.
I suspected it was my 3 yr. old BATTERY, but ADVANCE AUTO PARTS says "NO." My battery tests GOOD.
Yesterday it would not START and battery seemed dead, but 5 seconds later I turned the ignition again and bingo, it started quickly??? Last night it would not even crank. The STARTER makes no "clicking noise" at all!
With HEADLIGHTS ON, and HIGH BEAMS ON, turning the ignition to START does not even dim the HEADLIGHTS? The lights are bright, the radio plays, and the STARTER will not turn at all.
I am disabled, on chemo and broke due to incurable bone marrow cancer. Is there a TEST for the STARTER? For the Solenoid? Is there a less expensive path to follow for this repair? Thank you!
WHEN I TAPE THE GAS PEDLE UNTIL PUT THE CAR IN GEAR. ALSO WHEN THE ENGIN IS WARM AND REMOVE MY FOOT FROM THE GAS IT DOES NOT WANT SLOW DOWH. BUT ONCE I APPLY THE BRAKES IT WILL DROP THE RPMS DOWN TO 1000 RPM'S I THINK THE IAC IS HANGING UP AND NEEDS TO BE CLEANED. ALSO WHEN THE THROTTLE BODY IS CLEANED IS THE IAC CLEANED AT THE SAME TIME. AND DO YOU HAF TO HAVE DIAGNOSTIC DONE FIRST
My car had the usual check up fluids, hoses, filter, brakes etc.,8 months ago. however coming home one night, it just went dead, put a new battery in, but does not help, won't go pass the next street before it completely shuts down, as 198,000 miles. What could be the issue here and why. Thanks
canister...does anyone have any info on whether they are possibly related...at 77500miles I am thinking it is far too early for these problems with a toyota
