My oil light came on, so I added 2 quarts of oil and it was too much. The engine sounded like a diesel truck. I emptied some oil out. The noise went away, but my mechanic says, at most he tears apart my engine and find leaks, thousands of dollars. Or I let him change my oil and try to reestablish oil pressure, 100$. I feal like I'm being swindled.

Everything else works my taillights, brake lights, tag lights turn signal inside lights park lights. I just don't have dash lights and my headlight won't work on dim just on bright. So I know its not my fuse. What else could it be? I know I have juice going up to my dimmer switch but don't know how to test my dimmer switch itself. Thanks in advance.

Problem has occurred twice since February 2016. We even tried using low temperature sockets and everything was fine for about a week. They melted also. This is constantly causing one or the other and sometimes both headlights to go off. My husband then has to push on the socket and then both lights will work. The headlights will also act up if you try to use the high beams. Sometimes the high beam indicator light will stay on and of course, one of the headlights is out. It's the craziest thing and also very aggravating. Everything works fine until the sockets start to melt. Thank you.

well i went to start my car and it wasn't turning over, it finally started and it would not go more than 5 mph

Tha AM channels fade out and disappear. Sometimes for days at a time. Then, they work for 2 minutes to 2 days, then fade out and disappear again.
I dont think its the unit it hads to be the reception, am antenna, or am antenna connections??

Pump and filter. Replaced2 coil packs all spark plugs and air filter. What else could it be?

Car was running well, no warning lights on, battery was disconnected during the process. Reconnected when job complete and car won't start, engine cranks but not start. Starter fluid put in throttle body and still won't start, so no spark, and car has no connection to check fuel pressure. All connections are good and electrical switches replaced.

Set the timing via timing light and goofy wire in the monitor coupler. The idle is supposed to be 800 flat but when I crank the idle screw to get 800 it stalls out. Engine runs smooth and quiet at 2K rpm. The number 4 piston was burnt on the old engine. I'm going to cut the cat out. And looking for a new fuel filter. But I'm stumped.

I went on a weekend trip that was approximately 100 miles total at a high elevation and treacherous terrain was fine prior to the trip

Lights that should not burn do--door ajar, check engine light, lights that should burn do not--light on dash, stereo light. Lights inside car flicker and go off and on while driving so they have to be in the OFF position so that when you open the car door, there are no lights. Also, the fuel door hinge broke and the door flew off. I have noticed several of the same model vehicle around town without their fuel doors.

I have read that there are many things wrong when this code comes up the car has plenty of spark and plenty of fuel almost to the point where it's being flooded when I took spark plugs out looks like lots of fuel in cylinder but will not start it died while driving down the road if I replace the throttle body sensor will it correct this problem or is there much more to it and is this a recall yet since there's so many people having the problem

this only happens when i gas up, when i turn the key ignition stays on, like the car doesn't recognize the car is running. other times when i start the car. no problems..only when i gas up. weird...???

I basically have 170psi across all 6 cylinders all timing chains are tight except the very bottom chain which has a little slack in it, never showed any signs of any problems and 4 days ago while driving too tn. the car just shut off I pulled over to the median looked under the hood seen nothing obvious and tried to restart it and it turned over but sounded like it jumped time and like it had no compression but it does 170psi each cylinder and all timing chains are tight except for the very bottom chain yet still won't start I have worked on cars for 35 years but never one of these suzuki's any tips and how can I check the timing to see if it's a couple of teeth out maybe or if it may just be the crank sensor I had a caddilac cts with the same symptoms sounding like it had no compression or like it jumped time and it just wasn't getting any fuel replaced fuel pump and even though it still sounded like it had no compression when it got fuel it started right up I no I have fuel but thinking it was the timing chain and needing to replace the water pump I didn't check for fire before tearing it down to replace the pump so I know I have fuel not sure on fire could that possibly be the crank sensor any addvice please.
