Front seal leak in my 2.9 liter engine Lucas Oil within 2 days. Vehicle only has 82800 miles
it happens when the diesel is low
Engine is stalling and regaining power continually, feels like it is running out of fuel. Would assume the fuel filter needs to be replaced.
Getting mixed advice on how to transmission fluid changes. My I-290 has 50K miles and book says to change at that time. Local 10 min.oil change place in town will flush but does not have the Dexron 6 that manual calls for but has mercon and will add additives to make it compatable to dex6? He will hook machine to transmission lines but will not drop pan (could this cause a problem?)Local transmission shop in town says donot do the flush only drop the pan change filter and put new fluid in . Which way should I go?
Wednesday it came on while I was coming home. came back on Thursday drove the 12 miles to the store it went off when I got back in the truck went to work it came back on and will not go off. Had a DIAGNOSTIC run on it today it did not show anything
It cranks without firing, get frustrated and wait a few minutes and it starts. What is the issue?
Went out to start my truck this morning and it would not crank. Hooked it up to the battery charger and after less than 10 minutes the charger read "fully charged." When I turn the key, my radio and all other features work, however, it won't crank...just a click. The OBD and Passlock sensor lights are illuminated when the key is turned. The only other time I have had an issue with this truck is when getting gas and they didn't close my gas cap.
I just had the engine replaced two days ago. And am having the same problem as with the old engine. Took truck into dealer back in Oct. of 2010. Reduce power light came on and was only able to drive about 15 miles/hr. While driving or idle the engine would just kill. When I took it into the dealer, all they did was change the cam actuator. 5 months later the engine killed.
Had a new engine put in and just picked up the truck on Saturday April 28. Yesterday while driving the check engine light started blinking and the pwr reduced to 15 miles again and then then truck stalled. Today the dealer called and said that they are getting at least 15 different codes but they all seem to point to the camshaft cranks.
Is there a known defect in this type of vehicle? What or is there any solutions. I just shelled out $4,000 for an engine and am experiencing the same issue as with the old one. I need some serious advise, PLEASE.
starter good. ign switch good. will not crank. Relay does click when turn key to start. no power to starter solenoid.
Why is the truck hestitating at 20,000 miles? The dash lights up saying,, reduced power and wont go over 40 miles an hour..
I get 20-21 mpg on average with varying loads all throughout the non-winter months. Winter & cold temps lower this to 16-17. This is consistant. Why is there such a drop-off in fuel economy? I've been told it should be around 10% due to fuel additives, etc.
I also have intermittant extended start-up cranking at various times with some loud muffler vibration at times too. The CT dealership I purchased from does not handle warrantee work any longer and never were very helpful so I'm looking for a local factory authorized service center if anyone cares to recommend one.
Isuzu corporation is out o business. I was told by a recording this spring that the authorized servicer would be a hyundai company. They do not honor the warranty. Who can provide assistance with getting proper service and pricing for repairs?
where is the evap solenoid located on the Isuzu I-290?
