radiator cracked fixed it drove it but it kept getting hot than cold cause of thermastate. now it wont start it cranks over but it over flows out of resivore while trying to start what is the problem
i replaced the ignition switch, swapped batterys, tested the starter, and checked all fuses. nothing happens. when i go to "start" the car... nothing. all you hear is the fuel injectors. no sound from the starter at all. all dash lights come on as they are soposed to, head lights are bright and tail/brake lights work. im lost and in need of some help. ill try anything
and i checked the fuel pump relays an all my wires and it will only start off of starting fluid then die after
Has high mileage,did change fuel filter.
Tested the coil modulator and it tests fine.
This is the first time I've done this so just trying to learn as I go.
Coolant system was just drained and reserviced. The coolant low level light will not go out. The sending unit appears to be an internal part of the reservior. Do I need a new reservior?
Removed drum and inspected shoes, inside of drum shows very little wear and both shoes are wearing evenly. All appears normal. But, problem occurs with every application of brakes forward or reverse.
After my timing chain broke. I replaced Timing Chain,Camshaft Timing Gear, Crankshaft Timing Gear, Timing Chain Tensioner, and crankshaft position sensor. I Aline everything in the right position. I getting gas and spark. In the process of removing my Harmonic Balancer I messed up the threads in the Crankshaft My car has 270,000 miles on it..
The car will turn over and idle for like 30 seconds and then shut off. It also shuts off immediately when you touch the gas. I have replaced the crankshaft sensor, fuel filter, vacuum lines, spark plugs, wires, oil change, and have checked all the sensors. The INFL REST light is coming on. Thats when this problem started is when that light first came on. ANY IDEAS??
I’m just finishing a head gasket job on a 95 Beretta 2.2L and am having difficulty re-attaching the throttle valve cable. I can get it attached, but only with the throttle wide open and it won’t close once the cable is attached.
The throttle cable itself attaches fine and appears to work appropriately. Bracket is not bent. I’m sure of the cable locations as they have unique connectors to the bracket as well as unique sizes of ends for attaching to the pulleys on the throttle assembly. Where could I have gone wrong and what can I do to correct this?
i change the colant sensor and checked the fuses on the driverside both ae good. what is left to check?
Took the car 2the shop 2get the check engine light looked at. The OBD-I, scanner says its the EGR SOLENOID. Is that the EGR valve or is it referring 2the CANISTER PURGE VALVE SOLENOID? The mechanic pointed 2the EGR valve & said 2clean it first & see if that doesnt solve the prob. I think its the canister valve. Any suggestions, anyone?
Have a wet passenger floor board, so think this hose is plugged.
I just replaced the crank position sensor. 2.2 4 cyl still wont start. turns over good - gas is coming out from throttle body fine - nice little mist - but no spark or sometimes a backfire type sound as its turning over. ?? Thanks for any advice. Bob

I'm sure I need to replace the crankshaft position sensor/modul on my 1991 4 cylinder 2.2 beretta. I was told I may need to drop the oil pan to pry it out from the inside!! IS my neighbor just trying to scare me? Is this seemingly simple fix a nighmare waiting to happen?
My car will go in Drive,but not reverse or Neutral. I was told to check transmission fluid. Where is the cap located? or any other suggestions?

car started running rough and burned the gas at about three times the normal rate.Changed plugs and wires now it will start but runs terrible,and only runs for a second and if you give it gas it dies immediatly.

How much time/work to replace belt tensioner.
Do I have to loosen motor mount to access the tensioner, for there’s no room there.
I just bought a Beretta and it has a coolant leak coming from the front passenger side of the car in front of the tire. I can't pinpoint so I am going to take it in and have a pressurize cooling system done. My question is this..why would my power steering stop working at the same time the leak is happening..does coolant have anything to do with the steering wheel being hard to turn???
Its a black part that keep coming out and it make it cut off, I can hear air when it come out.
The water pump seems fine so we stated with sensors and found that the fan never comes on but tested it and the fan itself works. We were told it was a relay but can't find the relay that goes to it. There is no diagrams or anything and it's not a fuse.
Here's my issue. My car is leaking gas either from the fuel rail or fuel injection line in my motor.. The rail is rusted in a spot. So i am thinking it's the fuel rail. Can't be sure. Unless one can't leak that or has nothing to do with gas . For it to leak there. I knew i smelled gas for a while, wasn't sure if i was over reacting and stepping in it when i pumped it or what.Had someone look over it didn't see any issue at first. Then my radator was replaced . When they were replacing that and started the car is when finally they saw the gas actually coming out of the rail or injection line. So the issue had been going on for a while but was never claiffied til a while ago. I have not driven the car for like three months now. Thats not safe. I need some help.. i'd appreciate if you could give me your advice alot. Thanks! .

The car stalls at a light or complete stop its an automatic
there is a vroom vroom vroom when sloing down will stay runinng and will only do this ahen slowwing down to stop some times
this problem happened after the first replace ment of front pads how do i rest the back to make it more of a 60 40 ratio
