1998 GMC 1500 Pickup 88,000 mi,
door lock switch in door panel not working
1992 GMC 1500 Pickup 200,000 mi,
Power locks seem to be sticky locking and have to hit power lock button several times. And only 1-2 times to unlock. Is it normal to be sticky also when try them manually? Key on left seems to work ok but right is tight and both doors seem to be the same with power button and inside manual slide lock seem very sticky or hard to work.
I have no idea how to fix it, but the manual door lock will not lock.

Check voltage to actuator if lower than 12 volts replace switch. If 12 volts check for binding in linkage in lock assembly,if not replace door lock actuator.
