The bearings located in the rear wheel hubs may fail prematurely under certain driving conditions, even if proper maintenance procedures have been followed. If a rear wheel hub were to fail, the driver could lose control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the rear wheel hubs to correct this concern.
