Okay so I have done alot or research on this. So I went ahead I got a new lock cylinder and plug it in where the original one was plugged in. I have the new lock cylinder under the dash just plugged in. And my security light is still on and car will not start. I also , tried the resistor to bypass the Vats system

I disconnected the original ignition Titus in the steering column and plugged in my new lock with key van security light is still on please help

It just cranks over and over like its not gettinggas

If its not the fuel relay were is the fuel pump located and the fuel filter .. assuming other options if have as to Wats wrong.. it continuously just turns over and over won t start

Turns over but it wont start on

I own a 1997 Pontiac Firebird V6 3.8 Liter.
I have replaced just the bracket 2 times now. The first time I replaced it was because the bracket snapped and same thing happend with the new bracket so I was fixing it yet again for a 3rd time. The 3rd time I changef the bracket and the A/C compressor and here I am 3 weeks after getting it fixed again the bracket snapped yet again. Can anyone help me?

Service engine light on, sent car to 2 places that couldn't find the issue for a 304 code.3rd person/mechanic scanned the car and came up with 304 code and the words crankshaft sensor, The car runs good, no misfiring, everything is as it should be and is smooth. So we got a gm sensor and put it on , erased the codes and 14 miles later light back on in the car, re-scan and same error code and msg. I a sticker cannot be gotten because of the car light being on.

Regarding my 97 Trans Am WS6, with the LT1 engine, the low coolant light on my dash seems to come on intermittently. I have checked, cleaned, and verified a good ground, checked and verified good connections, and I check the coolant level every time the car cools down. I add about a 1/4 to 1/2 quart of coolant every time to top off the radiator, and have bled the air with the bleed screws several times. The light stays off until the engine reaches normal operating temperature, the thermostat opens, and the light comes on. I have checked for leaks and found none visibly, no coolant in the passenger compartment, no white smoke, and the engine runs well. Where is the ccolant going? The oil does not appear contaminated, nor does the coolant. Does this sound like a faulty head gasket, or possibly a cracked block? Thank you.

The shop manuals do not give any help on the replacement of the fuel filter. I recently obtained this car and would like to replace the fuel filter, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for your help.

It says FC Relay 1,2,and 3 Control Circuit. Does this mean I need to find 3 control circuit relays and replace them? The other system checks seem to be in the normal range, (well other than the tach on the dash appears to be reading about 300rpm high). The MIL seems to come on now and then, and stay on, until I park the car for a few days. Thanks for your help.

I have a WS6 with the LT1 engine, that has about 123,000 miles on it. After it warms up the oil pressure usually reads about 20#s. Is this normal? It seems low to me. Also, when idling, but not moving, the coolant temperature will rise to about 220 degrees before the electric fans start. Is this normal?

When i turn my lights on, the lights keep going up and down constantly and after 15 seconds or so, then one will stay down and other one will be up or then will be half way, you never know, so when i want to put them down or up i have to unhook it and do it manually then i turn the lights on, so i was wondering how to time it

it will let me shift and starts just fine, just wont move when i try and shift into all gears, it just revs up..
