One vehicles equipped with power folding mirrors, the mirror may fold out past the standard position. Our technicians tell us that if this occurs a special procedure must be followed to relearn the correct mirror home position.

Happened before warranty expired however I didn't take in until 3 days after expiration. BMW would not honor warrantyy - Chapman BMW Chandler - and charged me for replacement mirror which is $1200. I did negotiate a lower price of $700.

Mirror (passenger) does not line up properly and therefore it's hard for to see out of. BMW ordered another mirror to replace.
