"No Start" Due to Ignition Switch Failure on Oldsmobile Achieva

The ignition switch may fail causing a no start condition. This is not generally a theft system (passlock) issue because the security light does not illuminate or flash.

My Achieva will not stay started. It turns over and then stalls. I believe it has something to do with the anti-theft stuff.
We have the same problem, it starts some times, but once we had to tow to the mechanic and then next morning it started fine for him, we had the 4th gear component in the engine, which got stuck, fixed, which is a great relief, but when I got the car home and it was running just fine, the next morning it wouldn't start. this is an intermittent problem and only happened once for the mechanic and they thought they identified a loose wire which they secured and it started fine afterwords. Still looking in to if it is ignition switch.
