The ignition switch may fail causing a no start condition. This is not generally a theft system (passlock) issue because the security light does not illuminate or flash.

My Achieva will not stay started. It turns over and then stalls. I believe it has something to do with the anti-theft stuff.

Lock cylinder started binding and was hard to turn. When it freed up, the indicator lights come on on the instrument panel, but it won't turn over. I bypassed the ignition switchw with a wire and it turned over, but wouldn't start leading me to believe it's the ignition switch. How do I access this electric switch?
