2010 Nissan Armada Recalls

Body, Interior & Misc.,August 30, 2010
RepairPal Expert Overview:

Nissan is recalling 2010 Armada models for failing to comply with federal safety requirements concerning seating systems. The second row center seat hinge was manufactured out of specification, which may prevent the rear center seat back from fully locking in the in-use, or upright, position. This increases the risk of injury to the seat occupant in the event of a crash. Dealers will inspect the hinge/lock and, if needed, install a new one.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

Nissan is recalling certain 2004 - 2010 Titan, Armada, & QX56 vehicles. Also included are 2005 - 2010 Frontier, Xterra, and Pathfinder vehicles for faulty front and/or rear suspension lower control arms. The problem is the control arm's attaching point to the vehicle's chassis. During the manufacturing process, some control arms may contain welds that do not meet Nissan's strength specs, and if they break, it may result in loss of vehicle control, and a possible crash.
