Took my car to get tires put on after a worsening wheel alignment problem had caused the tires to bald , after mavis put the new tires on they told me subframe was rotted out and would need replacement ($2500-3500), hyundai let us know that this was a recurring problem with 2002 Sonatas and replaced everything free of charge , they were excellent with the whole process , thanks Hyundai

Right front sub frame failed (rusted through, per AAMOCO) and pulled the axle from the transmission.A used sub frame was installed and a new axle. The repair was completed on 09/09/10.
