If I put the key in the lock or ignition the KRE fob will work. The KRE fob works immedetialty after turning off and exiting the vehicle, but a minute or two later none of them work. I have three fobs and it is the same with all of them. I have an appointment to go into a GMC dealer, but I have been messed around enough on this vehicle. Please, if someone knows of a part we can purchace ourselves and fix it I would rather do that.
fobs stopped working but if tried right after car driven did work, after sitting awhile didnt, took 5 trips to dealer, first said worked, then replaced the fobs twice before admitting there was a service bulletin and more extensive rewiring was done, just glad it was under 3/36,000
Our key fobs only work for a few minutes after exiting the truck. I have heard it may be the receiver. Where is the receiver located?
