Loss of Power Steering Fluid Due to Leaking Hoses on BMW 318i

Problem Description and Possible Solution

A fluid leak may develop from one or more power steering hose. When a leak is being repaired, it is not uncommon for multiple hoses to be replaced.

Every time I nortice the iritating noIse when am marking a turn,I alwaz check and find that the steering oil level is vellow,after oil top up the noise disapears.I suspect one of my power steering horse must be leaking.shadrick
In cold weather steering is very tight, power steering pump whines increasing with cold conditions.
I noticed excessive leaking with the PS hoses/clamps at the reservoir and the hose ends at the cooler hard line. I removed the OE "beverage system" type clamps and replaced them with regualar Fuel Injection line clamps to stop the seeping at the connection points.
