Problem Description and Possible Solution
A fluid leak may develop from one or more power steering hose. When a leak is being repaired, it is not uncommon for multiple hoses to be replaced.

During fluid inspection/oil change at ~47,000 miles, shop reported that Power Steering ATF fluid was showing low and that probably had a hose leak. Ignored getting it fixed right away and after 3,000 additional miles the power steering is locked up. Tried adding additional fluid and sealer myself but it failed to solve issue.
The only ODB2 code being reported is P1246 which is supposedly unrelated to this issue.
Power steering fluid is intermittently leaking onto exhaust pipes and creating nasty smell in the cabin of the car. Very, very, miniscule amounts of fluid. Will be replacing hoses and clamps.
high pressure power steering hose seems to be leaking bad, funny part is the resivour has not lost fluid, and other power steering hose are dry as a bone!
