I have to add coolant every 3 to 4 months about 500 milliliters, the problem has existed since i got the car 120000 miles ago, I have had multiple attempts at fixing with different mechanics none of which have succeeded

The check coolant light comes on even after topping off the system, but the level is higher. However after about a week the level will drop and I can see some fluid on the garage floor

Piece of garbage radiators. Aftermarket is better. Tired of driving past the BMW dealer only to have the car drive itself in.

Replaced all cooling hoses. Bigger problem is the hoses passing through the firewall and the minimal clearance between the three clamps. I switched to VW eared clamps with new hoses and no more leaks.

Cracked radiator. Replaced with OEM parts. repair bill was $865.00. If I used an aftermarket replaement I could have saved about $200.00. Not sure I made the decision.

Had a crack in the radiator. The dealer charged me over $2500 to repair everything. It was insane.
