2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Recalls
Moisture can cause corrosion to build up on the wiper link mechanism, possibly causing the link to separate. This would cause the wipers to fail, resulting in reduced visibility for the driver which can cause an accident.
The front suspension lower control arms may corrode excessively in areas where there is a higher concentration of salt water exposure, such as from use of road salt. This could cause the arms to separate from the vehicle frame, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
The power steering pressure hose may develop a leak from contacting the transmission housing. A leak may lead to loss of steering assistance.
The brake lights may stay on or not come on at all. Additionally, the shift lever could also be moved out of park without depressing the brake pedal.
2013 Outlander Sport AWD vehicles are being recalled because the fuel gauge may read incorrectly, indicating more fuel than is actually in the tank.
