The front suspension lower control arms may corrode excessively in areas where there is a higher concentration of salt water exposure, such as from use of road salt. This could cause the arms to separate from the vehicle frame, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
When deployed in a crash, the passenger front air bag inflator can rupture. As a result, metal fragments from the inflator can strike occupants.
A ruptured passenger airbag inflator can result in injury.
The front passenger air bag may deploy with too much pressure in a crash. This can cause the inflator to rupture, releasing metal fragments that can injure occupants.
