On certain sport utility vehicles a component of the parking brake assembly was incorrectly manufactured. This may  cause damage to the teeth of the parking brake resulting in parking brake not properly engaging or releasing after engagement. This could cause your vehicle to roll and result in a crash. The dealer will replace the parking brake lever assembly free of charge. The KIA recall # is SC-050

On certain sport utility vehicles, fuel may leak from the O-Ring into the internal vapor chamber located in the fuel tank under full fuel conditions. This may cause the vehicle hard to fill, cause the engine to stall, or could leak fuel causing a fire hazard. The dealer will inspect and replace the fuel tank and charcoal canister free of charge. The KIA recall # is SC-048

On certain sport utility vehicles equipped with electronic stability program (ESP) , the yaw rate sensor may become too sensitive and may re-calibrate incorrectly. While driving the ESP program may cause the engine to reduce power and may cause a brake at one of the wheels to be inappropriately applied. This may lead to loss of control and a crash. The dealer will Reprogram the ESP unit free of charge. The KIA recall # is SC-044
