Loud ticking, car under warranty, took to dealer. Two valves replaced. Ticking resumes from time to time, dealer refuses to repair the problem until the ticking is constant.

Loud ticking, car ran rough after start and when idling. Dealer replaced 2 valves, problem continues from time to time, BMW cannot replicate the problem, will not replace until 'consistent' ticking.
