2002 Infiniti I35 Recalls
Certain vehicles are being recalled because the passenger airbag inflator may rupture upon deployment. Vehicle occupants could be struck by metal fragments resulting in personal injury.
Nissan will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning August 11, 2014. If you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call
The passenger front airbag inflator could rupture when deployed, allowing metal fragments to strike vehicle occupants and increasing the risk of personal injury.
As this writing, Nissan has not released a schedule for owner notification. There are no symptoms related to this recall. if you are not notified in a resionable time and feel you should have been, please contact your local dealer. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call.
Due to problems in the crank position sensor and cam position sensor, the engine may not start, may have reduced power, or may stop running without warning.
