Engine Misfire Due to Failed Spark Plug Wires on Subaru Impreza

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Sometimes the Check Engine Light illuminates because the computer detects misfires. Subaru released an improved spark plug wire set to solve the problem. The ignition coil should also be inspected for carbon tracks or short circuits between the contacts

Misfire in cylinder 4 so I changed spark plugs oil around sides and on top
Engine light on drives fine then when down the gears
To first gear goes of a cylinder but takes over fine
Consistent misfire in cylinder 2.
I would experience a loss of power (the whole car running on 1-2 or even 3 cylinders) car would die on the highway while driving so I would have to pull over. Car had a hard time starting and continued to cause horrific misfires until I limped it into the shop. I replaced the wires, coils, and spark plugs; these are all usually changed at the same time.
I've had the bucking since day one. I'll have to try to find the improved coil kit, first I've heard of that. Thanks
