ABS May Activate At Lower Speeds

On vehicles equipped with All Wheel Drive and the 3.5L V6, at speeds between 3 and 12 MPH, vibrations from wet brake pads may cause interference with the electronic signal noise with the ABS sensor. The Antilock Braking System (ABS) may activate, which may extend stopping distance and result in a crash. Dealers will reprogram the ABS ECU. The recall began March 24, 2004. The Hyundai recall number is 065.
