The under hood module for the heated washer system may overheat and catch on fire.

This should be considered a high priority recall. The heated washer module could catch fire without warning. Please contact your General Motors dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.

The wiring to the washer system fluid heater may overheat. This can create a burning smell, smoke, and possibly a fire under the hood.
