Honda has recalled certain 1990 Civic DX and LX sedans equipped with automatic transmissions due to a concern with the park lock mechanism. Because of an improperly machined internal shaft in the transmission, the park pawl mechanism may not fully engage. This could result in a vehicle that rolls when it is expected to be in "Park," causing a possible crash or personal injury. Dealers will install an improved park pawl shaft.
