Buick Regal High Pressure Power Steering Hose Can Leak Fluid

(27 reports)

The high pressure power steering hose will commonly leak fluid; it should be replaced.

The PS hoses appear to leak under load, however the aerodynamics of the air flow around this part and the placement of this part on the engine creates a wide distribution of the fluid, the exhaust manifold as well as the exhaust connection to the muffler system is close to this area this creates a fire hazard. Bad engine design. -
