2012 GMC Terrain Recalls

The ignition key may be able to be removed from the ignition switch without the vehicle's transmission being shifted to the park position, which could allow the vehicle to roll unexpectedly as occupants exit the vehicle. This would increase risk of injury.

Recall repairs on your General Motors vehicle must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors will notify known owners of affected vehicles (a timetable of this notification is unavailable as of the time of this writing). If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The General Motors recall numbers are 50490 and 50491.

One or both of the front seats may fall to their lowest vertical position without warning.
