General Motors is recalling vehicles equipped with a left side cargo door that were originally sold or currently registered in certain states where salt is used to de-ice the roads. Due to corrosion, when fueling the vehicle, fuel may leak from the area near the gas cap.

GM will notify owners of affected vehicles (a notification timeline has not been released as of this writing). If you notice a fuel smell or leakage from the filler neck area, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It’s helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.

The retractors that secure a wheel chair into a handicapped conversion van may be out of alignment and not be effective in keeping the wheel chair secured.

Sure-Lok, the manufacturer of the component in question, contacted owners of affected vehicles in 2004.  You can check with your dealer to assist in seeing if your vehicle is involved in this program. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them.
