RepairPal Expert Overview:

When moving the seats from a flat to upright position, the second row seat belt buckle may bind on the second row seat trim shield. This could prevent proper operation and securing of the safety belt, which would increase the risk of injury to an occupant. Dealers will modify the second row seat trim shields. The GM recall number is N100243. This recall began on August 18, 2010.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The heated washer module under the hood could overheat due to excessive current draw. Under certain conditions, this could result in an under hood fire. This previous recall attempt in 2008 to repair this concern did not have the expected success. Dealers will now permanently disable and remove the heated washer module to correct this concern. This recall is expected to begin on June 20, 2010.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The shifter cable adjustment may become dislodged. This may cause the vehicle to show that it is in "Park," when it could actually be in another gear. If this happens, the vehicle may move and not be secure. Dealers will inspect the shift cable adjustment clip to make sure it is fully engaged, and will replace any shift cables that cannot be secured. The General Motors recall number is 09041. The recall began on March 24, 2009.

The seat belt buckles in the second or third row seats may be missing a rivet. If a crash occurs, the buckle may separate from the strap, increasing the risk of injury to the passenger. Dealers will inspect the seat belt buckles and replace any as needed.
