Isuzu Ascender Fuel Level Sensor May Fail

The fuel level sensor may fail resulting in erratic reading of the fuel gauge. Sensor replacement is generally required to correct this concern.

Same issue. I just monitor the mileage and fill up on a regular basis. Have run out at times. -
My gas gauge is all over the place. We were just researching the cause when I came across this. Erratic is the truth! -
the fuel light not working @ all every time I poor gasoline it comes up like it is full but is not. and the gas pump keeps stoping while im pooring gasoline. also none of my panel lights are working and when I turn on the air conditioning the car turn off if a put more refrigerant on the air conditioning the prob would stop -

Someone drove my car and ran it out of gas. Since then the fuel gauge wasn't accurate. However now it isn't working at all. A mechanic told me that the fuel pump would need to be replaced. Parts and labor around $500. Would this fix the problem? -
