The door latches of the vehicle may not properly secure the doors in the closed position. If the door is not secure it may open while driving, resulting in possible occupant injury.
Wiring to a sensor that provides information to the engine's computer may not be spliced properly. As a result, the engine may hesitate or stall while driving, which could increase risk of a crash.
One or more of the components of the airbag system may not function as expected in the event of a crash.
The engine could hesitate while driving and can stall, causing a safety issue.
In the event of a crash, the deployment of the side-curtain airbag may be delayed.
The outside door handles may be misaligned, resulting in doors being difficult to close or doors that open while driving.
The back of the driver and/or passenger seat may become loose, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
A cracked cylinder head could result in an engine oil leak.
A previously replaced engine compartment fuel line may develop a leak.
Certain 2013 Ford models are being recalled because the child lock for the left rear door may not function as expected. As a result, the door could open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of injury.
