turn key on: only access ..nothing else. I can move gear shift, but no gauges and only "check engine" and "batt" light on.
I took it to local Chevrolet Dealership...replaced ignition switch and it starts fine...but...the "Mechanic" triggered the "service 4WD, service airbag" and "seatbelt warning icon" ...asking me to return so the can FIX those things...I will not do that.
Ignition key spins 1/2 circle, won't come out, will not engage anything. Parking brake release it not working. Trying to figure out if it is housing related...s.o.s. !
ig.nition switch shut down the vechical on the highway iwas told i have too pay a dealer and its not a recall is that true
3rd time replacing ingnition switch computer! Not fun being stranded and not a fun part to change. I'm amazed this isn't a recall considering tons of people report this issue on the forums!
Just investigating. Not yet fixed.
