On vehicles equipped with a second row bench seat, the seat belts may not perform as required, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
On seventy-nine vehicles, a shaft for the rear axle may contain cracks. If the shaft breaks, there is an increased risk of a crash.
The brake system of the Sprinter van may have the incorrect master cylinder and fluid reservoir installed. This would cause poor braking performance and should be corrected.
