A power steering hose may rupture and leak at the time of engine start up after being exposed to cold temperatures. This would increases steering effort, and leaking fluid could cause a fire hazard.
The anti-lock brake system and electronic stability control system may stop working because of water damage to the module that controls both functions. This could result in a loss of vehicle stability or control.
A cover on top of the engine may detach and fall onto the hot exhaust components, creating a risk of fire.
Due to contaminated brake fluid, braking ability could be lost unexpectedly.
667 vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine are being recalled because internal engine failure could cause an abnormal noise and/or the engine to stop running.
