2005 Chrysler Town & Country Recalls
The airbag warning light may illuminate due to water intrusion into a front crash sensor. The airbag system may not deploy as designed when the airbag warning light is on, increasing the risk of personal injury in the event of a crash.
In areas where greater amounts of road salt is used, the up-front airbag sensors may crack due to corrosion, allowing water to enter the sensor, causing failure. In the event of certain types of front end crashes, airbag performance would be reduced with these sensors not functioning.
The front windshield wiper motor may fail. As a result, the driver's vision could be obscured, increasing the risk of a crash.
On vehicles without "Stow 'N Go" seating, the right front seat belt retractor may be faulty. As a result, the seat belt may not function as designed, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
