The retaining nut for the brake booster pushrod at the brake pedal may not have been tightened correctly during vehicle assembly. The nut could loosen and allow the pushrod to separate from the brake pedal. This would result in loss of braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the pushrod retention nut and tighten it to the correct specification if necessary. The General Motors recall number is 11318.
