A defective anti-lock brake system (ABS) pump and/or leaking piston seals in the master cylinder can cause excessive pedal effort, lack of stopping power, and abnormal pump noise. Diagnoses will be required to determine the root cause of any braking issues and the component(s) that will require replacement.

Slow at braking and makes noises. Like rubbing. Sometimes I wonder if I will stop. Rotors and pads have been replaced or rotated 3 times within this last year. While I was waiting on my repair, another person had the same problems with their same year Dodge Caravan. Still need the ignition problem taken care of as the dealer said they couldn't get the part and left it that way with no idea when I could take it back. Not happy. This is my second Chrysler town and country, didn't have much trouble with it.
