RepairPal's Assessment: Serving the Niwot area since 1984, Gunbarrel Import Motors specializes in European vehicles. They have dealer level scan tools and diagnostic equipment for the brands they service and many of their employees hold ASE certifications (two are ASE Master Technicians), allowing the shop to achieve the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, of which there are only about 1,500 located through out the country. Their technicians have years of hands-on experience and attend training classes whenever possible.

We were delighted to find their owner, Dana TePoel, has over 20 years of experience in the auto industry. This ASE Blue Seal shop (of which there are only about 1500 nationwide) is also AAA and BBB accredited, and provides state emissions testing. They have been serving the Westminster, CO area since 1992.

Dana has more than 31 years of automotive experience, receives continual training to stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies, and is ASE certified. He has a good team of technicians who also receive continual training and have over 27 years of combined experience. These technicians are supplied with some of the industries best tools and use them to perform professional repairs on your vehicle. This AAA shop backs their work up with a 24 Month 24,000 mile warranty. For your convenience they also offer a local shuttle service, rental car, free WiFi internet access, and early bird after/after hours drop-off.

RepairPal's Assessment: Andy opened Fifth Gear Automotive in 1982 and has been serving the Broomfield area ever since. The shop moved into their brand new building at its current location in 2001. They have a very experienced team of five technicians who have an astonishing 100 years of experience between them. Combine this with their excellent tooling, factory level diagnostic equipment, and top-notch customer service, and you have the complete package. Fifth Gear is also AAA approved, a Bosch Authorized Service Center, and an emissions testing and repair facility.

This is a growing operation and he hopes to bring in another quality technician as soon as the time is right. This Top Shop does quality repairs and backs them up with a 12 Month 12,000 Mile warranty. Their amenities include rental car, early bird/after hours drop-off, and convenient Saturday business hours.
