I put a new power steering rack in and have bled the system but continue to have air trapped. It seems to be getting worse any suggestions?
I got the plug out of the transmission,cant seem to find out what weight of gear lub to put in it ?
Blew the front transmission seal on my Audi,does anyone have any idea how much to fix it.I see prices on the seal but not the maintence.Thank you
Could someone help me w/ some instructions on accessing the blower motor in my 96' Audi A4? The farthest I have gotten was taking off the end cap. Ive looked in the manual but they do not have the instructions for the a4 in there only the volkswaggon. If someone had pics of how to do it on this Audi that would be appreciated also. Thanks
Replaced battery, now it wont work
I had a blowen break line on the front R after replacing the line I could not get it the bleed the air out, checked the calaper - good - I took the line off the ABS and back bleed the air out of the line untill only fluid came out re conected the line and still can not build pressure but I have good fluid flow on the other breaks
I check for flow at the ABS unit and it just spits (no flow for that line) the other line squrts fluid. Any way to reset/repair the unit with out replacing it @ 1000 $ and up

i am looking for the low pressure port on my audi a4 quattro i got an answer yesterday but it just leaves me at the same point
i just need to know the area i need to look if it is in side the hood or under the dash thank you
i can only find the high pressure port if any one can help with this i will appreciate it

when i went to NICKS QUICK OIL AND LUBE TO GET MY OIL TOPPED OFF FOR FREE,2000 MILES AFTER GETTING IT CHANGED AT SAME SHOP, IT WAS 2.5 QTS. LOW.MECHANIC THEN SHOWED ME WHERE OIL PAN WAS CRACKED BY PLUG.HE ASKED ME IF I HIT ANYTHING, I SAID NO.HE SAID NORMALLY IT LOOKS LIKE SCREW TIGHTENED TOO MUCH BUT COULDNT HAV BEEN THEIR FAULT BECAUSE THEY USE TORQUE WRENCH. I THINK THEY DID THE DAMAGE WHEN I GOT MY OIL CHANGED THERE LAST TIME. WHAT SHOULD I DO???ESTIMATE AT MY MECHANIC IS ABOUT $600 FOR NEW PAN.
Thanks...I've owned about 7 Audis (my best friend is an Audi tech for 20 years) but he now has two kids an hour away so he'll nail the issue for me but I'm trying to fix it up here myself and give John some ideas as to what is wrong before I drop it off at his place. I never go to dealers and did so twice...unfortunately,they don't have the experience my friend John Miller does here in NJ...I'll check out your suggestions though they sound plausible...I've even listened to the fuel pump for that 'sound'...it could be cutting out - maybe I'll throw another one in anyway since the car has 206k miles on it...it doesn't owe me anything! After three service visits, it's still doing the same thing...had a loose spark plug code: P0301 fixed, a vacuum leak, diagnostics on battery (would't turn over but I cranked it about 10 times prior), alternator, etc. Performance is the problem - it doesn't idle properly then that's when the problem starts..it sometimes goes up and down at idle..idle stabilzer may be my issue but will this issue affect driving along???
All of a sudden, my Audi is hesitating, bucking and it feels similar to when you turn the AC on...when the compressor comes on it lurches a little ...and then after driving awhile it will stall at slower speeds....help
All lights come on but none stay on. Will start back up after a couple of seconds. Also if car sits in neutral it will just stop. Would the cold weather have anything to do with it.
