2010 Audi A3 Recalls

RepairPal Expert Overview on February 10, 2016

The inflator that deploys the driver's frontal air bag in the event of an accident may rupture and spray metal fragments onto vehicle occupants. This can increase risk of serious injury or death.

Recalls on your Volkswagen or Audi must be performed by the respective Volkswagen or Audi dealership. Volkswagen will notify owners of affected vehicles (a timetable of this notification is not available as of the time of this writing). If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Volkswagen or Audi dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.

A fuel leak may develop during extreme driving conditions, increasing the risk of a fire.

We at RepairPal have designated this as a medium priority recall; this would change to high if your driving habits are "extreme." Please contact your Audi dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you as to what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
