Some optional trailer hitches may not have been properly welded during installation. The hitch may separate from the vehicle while in use, which could result in a crash.

We at RepairPal have designated this a medium priority recall; this would change to high if the trailer hitch is used. Please contact your Acura dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
