Buick Skylark Problem Report

Buick Skylark Loss of One or More HVAC Blower Motor Speeds

(4 reports)

The HVAC blower motor may stop working at one or more speeds due to a faulty blower motor resistor block. Our technicians recommend to confirm the resistor is at fault by first checking the operation of the switch.

The blower for the AC, heat, etc. broke first only at the highest level, so I had to run it at the second highest level, not as efficient, but managable, until the blower stopped working altogether, now driving the car in cold weather is difficult because I cannot see clearly out the windows...this car is a nightmare! -
