Report: ABS Light Illimination Due to Failed ABS Hydraulic Valve Assembly
Mazda B2200 Problem
Average Mileage: 133,577 mi (90,000 mi - 177,154 mi)
The anti-lock brake (ABS) warning light may illuminate due to an internal fault with the ABS hydraulic valve assembly. Our technicians tell us that replacement of the hydraulic valve assembly will be necessary to correct this concern.
Does the ABS Hydraulic Valve Assembly have anything to do with your brakes working properly by stopping my truck? Since I have had new brakes put on my truck I have to pump the brake peddel 3 to 4 times before they will take hold. Then after stopping, the brake pedel goes all the way to the floor. Can someone help me with the answer to this problem. The mancanic who replaced my brakes said (this was done 7 months ago and I have had to take my truck back into them at least once a month for the last 7 month)that if he replaces the ABS Hydraulic Valve Assembly then that will solve the problem. Of course I have already spent $1200.00 for this brake job so far and now he wants another $500.00 just for the part, this will not cover the cost of installing it. HELP ME PLEASE. Thank You, Rosebudd

My Mazda B2200 has its ABS light and parking brake light on constantly. I replaced the ABS sensor at the rear differential, but the problem has continued. What could be the cause for this and how do I correct it?
