ABS Light Due to Poor Electrical Ground Under the Battery Tray on GMC Sierra 1500

Problem Description and Possible Solution

A poor electrical ground under the battery tray may cause the ABS warning light to illuminate. Our technicians tell us that cleaning and properly securing this ground and also the main ABS ground on the frame rail below the drivers door may be necessary.

ABS and or brake light randomly appears then goes away
ABS dash lite comes on sometimes while driving on roads. Hit a bump and the lite may come on or go off. Turnong inig. key will sometimes reset lite to off. May be corrosion problems with speed sensors????
ABS light, and associated audible alarm, goes on while driving. Sometimes it goes out on its own, sometimes stays on until ignition is turned off, and truck is restarted. Hasn't been fixed yet, will try checking ground connections as indicated in previous issues noted with this on GMC trucks.
Intermittent ABS/Brake warning light. Fix was to re seat the connector on the top of the ABS module. This connector is parallel to the frame. Thinking back it was probably loosened when vehicle was rear ended.
ABS Light and Brake light came on at same time, especially in DRY weather. If wet outside the moisture completes the ground and the light goes off. Currently at 192Kmi and same thing still happening.
