Why won't my 72 Buick Skylark turn over when cranked?

What is your question?

I have changed the starter, coil, alternator, plugs and wires. I have also replaced the ignition switch and turn signal switch. I have not changed the points, nor checked the timing, but could those two things be the problem? I had to select the wrong year because my year wasn't available.

If you mean it cranks but won't start... Check for spark to the plugs from plug wire. .. If spark ok.. Look inside carburetor while pumping linkage to see if gas squirts out of accelerator pump nozzles. .. If got spark and gas, check compression.

Yes there is spark and gas. Can you please tell me how to check compression? I never had to do that as a teen in my brothers shop, and I bought a newer car when I was old enough.....soooo

Yes there is spark and gas. Can you please tell me how to check compression? I never had to do that as a teen in my brothers shop, and I bought a newer car when I was old enough.....soooo
