Why does car backfire, stall and jerk while in motion? Fuel pump's been changed

This occurs frequently when car has covered a distance. Fuel pump, filter have been changed and injector serviced yet problem persists. Car slows/stalls and begins to jerk and backfire and then picks up after a minute or so.
