Where is the timing chain located, and how do I get to it?

It appears that my timing chain either slipped or broke. The engine quit while driving down the freeway. Now it just turns over real fast and won't start.

In most engines the timing chains(when equipped) are under a cover on the front of the engine , underneath a bunch of other annoying crap.How many miles on engine?

The van has about 200,000 miles on it. The engine is a 3.4 v-6.
