When you step on the gas pedal it hesitates during acceleration. Does it sound like fuel filter needs changes or spark plugs?

not serviceable. it's in the tank and part of the fuel pump module assembly..
A 'serviceable part' is like an oil filter that can easily be removed and replaced .. Since this vehicles fuel filter is an integral part of the fuel pump module that is INSIDE the fuel tank .. It is considered as "non serviceable" .. Unless of course one wants to remove the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump module assembly... Perhaps a full scan test using the proper scan tool would help with diagnosing the performance issue.
What do you mean by not serviceable?
