Whats causing the brake lifht not to work?

(1999 Chevrolet S10)

ive replaced the bulbs,fuse,and brake plug. I have tail lights but no brake light

If signals work ok..and you have power in & out of brake light switch... Suspect multifunction switch!!!!.. Brake light circuit must pass through that switch before going to rear lights, switch can fail and open the circuit!.. Brake and signal use the same wire and bulb!!... Also be SURE hazard switch is not engaged... Check it by activating it several times and then turn it off!!

Broken wire in harness. Test circuit from switch to any of the sockets for continuity. ALSO confirm ground.
